Baking a Cake

We bought a portable DVD player and she was much amused by
watching Despereaux

Alice made a cake for the last night of the birthing classes I had
to take for my doula certification

Alice is pretty amazing at this whole cake-designing business. The
story behind the cake is there are 3 couples in the class. All 3 of
them are teachers, they're all having baby girls, and they all plan
to name their daughters a name that starts with an 'A'

Giant Jungle Gym

Sarah and I went to this giant jungle gym place in Chandler so
our kiddos could play. Seriously. This place was huge

Sarah bought my old camera from me. Weird seeing it in action
for someone else

Whenever Alice cooks, Hayden drags her chair
into the kitchen and says "I'll help! I'll help!" And
check out her hand-on-hip action!

My Little James Dean

Hayden went to a carnival at the church today and got her face
painted

Mothers - lock up your daughters! Vincent has some very James
Dean-esque facial expressions that will undoubtedly make girls
swoon (someday)

This kid is a photographer's anti-dream. She never wants to give
me a nice, pretty look for the camera

She does make for interesting photos that reflect her personality,
though
